Ron Holman

Executive/Artistic Director and Owner

Ron has been onstage at the Martin Theatre for over 20 years.  As a founding member of the MET, he has both acted in, or directed most MET productions.    He is owner and director of the Imagination Factory Children’s Theatre, which he founded 1993. He also has his own production company, Second Stage Productions.  Ron studied English literature and European Art History at the University of Alabama.  In his senior year he transferred to the University of North Alabama to study theatre under the legendary Gladys Shepard. 


While working on his MFA  at the University of Mississippi, he was chosen as a protégé of the Artist-in-Residence, James Best. At Ole Miss he studied directing and picked up an additional minor in Art History. He was also selected as Outstanding drama student, as well as best actor and best director in several Ole Miss productions.  


In summer stock, he has appeared on stage with Tony Award winner, Peggy Cass in GOODBYE, MY FANCY; and with Academy Award Winner Mercedes McCambridge in The LITTLE FOXES.  He also studied at the Actors Center and The American Film Institute in Los Angeles.
